The inclusion of the Fintech Power 50 can only help promote what we are trying to do to improve banking and payment service provision to a wider audience.
The Fintech Power 50 is an annual guide to the most influential and innovative companies that have helped shape the landscape of the fintech industry. Over the past few years, the Power 50 has become a respected reference point for those keen to gain an understanding of what is happening within the fintech sector.
In addition to being an excellent reference point, the guide acts as a reminder of all the wonderful things that are happening within our space. Those included in the list form part of the vibrant network of fintechs around the world.
We were therefore honoured to find that OpenPayd has been included in the Fintech Power 50 2020. It is a privilege to be included alongside some truly inspirational fintechs from the UK and beyond and our inclusion can only help promote what we are trying to do to improve banking and payment service provision to a wider audience.
As part of OpenPayd’s inclusion in the 2020 guide our CEO, Iana Dimitrova, was invited to write an article that gave an overview of exactly what it is we are trying to achieve. Entitled Reincarnation NOT Transformation: Business Banking In 2020 And Beyond, Iana explains how the rapid changes we have seen within banking service provision over the past couple of years have tended to focus on consumers. This has led to a lack of focus on business customers and there is clearly an opportunity to provide them with innovative solutions.
This is key to what OpenPayd is doing for its customers: providing innovative solutions througha single API. We want to simplify the way that enterprise businesses collect, convert and settle funds globally.
One of our ambitions is to help businesses realise theirs and we believe the services we provide - and continue to develop - are helping to do just that.
OpenPayd enables Citizen to issue virtual IBANs for every client, offering a greater global reach than other providers in the market.
Cross-border contentment is within our grasp - a world of painless, real-time payments for any business, anywhere.
Say it quietly, but established financial services firms are the early winners from embedded finance.
