With International Women’s Day just around the corner (8 March to be exact), it is fitting that Innovate Finance released their Women In FinTech Powerlist 2019 today. Now in its sixth year, the Powerlist recognises the amazing work that inspirational women around the world are doing within financial services.

This year, a panel of independent judges selected the Standout 35 list - whittled down from more than 650. As well as being an incredibly difficult task, the hundreds of applications and nominations that Innovate Finance received serves as testament to the extraordinary breadth of female talent within the industry.

Sophie Guibaud On Women In FinTech Powerlist Again

We were delighted (and extremely proud) to learn that our Chief Growth Officer, Sophie Guibaud made the Women In FinTech Powerlist for the second consecutive year. Sophie stands alongside some truly inspirational women and her inclusion on the list is testament to the skills, knowledge and passion she brings to our team.

“I am very humbled to be part of this year’s Standout 35 on the Innovate Finance Women In FinTech Powerlist 2019 for the second year in a row,” says Sophie. “I feel very lucky to work on a daily basis in a great company, alongside inspirational people promoting gender equality and workplace diversity in general. Many of our leadership team are women.”

Standout 35 Stars

You can take a look at Innovate Finance’s website for a full list of the amazing women who were chosen for the Standout 35 through their outstanding contribution to FinTech. In addition, there is a list of every woman who made the Women in FinTech Powerlist 2019, which is handily broken down into a broad range of roles across financial services.

We really could not be happier to see Sophie’s efforts within the financial services space recognised by an independent body and we extend our congratulations to every woman included in the list.
